KATIE MCMAHON-GATES | EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Katie is the owner and leader of PRIDE Girls Lacrosse and has been since 2016. She oversees the direction and strategy of the club, while also managing day to day operations.

Katie brings over 14 years of lacrosse coaching experience, including youth, high school, and college. She is currently the Head Varsity Coach at Georgetown Visitation, and recently named All-Met Coach of the Year 2018. While at Visitation, she has lead the program to their highest national ranking in school history. Her mission is to grow the game of lacrosse while teaching young girls to be confident and strong leaders. She has a strong passion for teaching lacrosse by creating a fun and enthusiastic learning environment. Katie played at UC Davis and was a 3x All-American. She holds records in goals, assists, points, and caused turnovers.

Her dog Belle is a frequent visitor to practices and games!

BRITTANY STEVENSON | PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Brittany will be hands-on with all things PRIDE, assisting in managing day to day operations of all club activities.

Brittany brings 12 years of coaching experience and a great passion for growing the game and investing in players.  She currently serves as the Assistant Varsity lacrosse coach at Bishop Ireton High School. During her time at BI, the Cardinals have won three WCAC Championships (2016, 2017, and 2018) and two VISAA State Championships (2017, 2018). Before joining the BI coaching staff, Brittany was the Head Varsity coach at South Lakes High School in Reston, VA and led the Seahawks to their most successful season in program history. Prior to her tenure at SLHS she was an Assistant Varsity coach at her alma mater, Hayfield Secondary School in Alexandria, VA. While at Hayfield she helped coach the team to three conference championship games. Brittany has also coached club competitively in NOVA since 2012.  As a player Brittany enjoyed success on the field at Old Dominion University ('08) as well as in high school at Hayfield ('04).

JESSY MORGAN | DIRECTOR OF RECRUITING 

Jessy was most recently the Head Coach at George Mason University for six seasons and turned a struggling program into an Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament contender.

Prior to that, Jessy was the Assistant Coach at UVA for four years where she served as the Recruiting Coordinator and Defensive Coach. Each season Morgan had been on staff, Virginia earned NCAA appearances, including a 2014 NCAA Semifinal appearance, and a national ranking as high as 4th. Recognized as a top recruiter, she played a significant role in securing the third-ranked national recruiting class in 2013.

The Baltimore native began her coaching career at Howard University where she was the head coach for the Bison for two seasons.  On the national scene, Morgan was a two-time USA Developmental Team member and was voted the eighth-best African-American lacrosse player of all-time by Lacrosse Magazine in 2010.

EL GOLLOB | FOUNDER 

El is the founder of PRIDE Girls Lacrosse.

​Coach El is a native of Maryland. As a high school standout, Coach El played midfield and defense. She took her talents to Princeton University to play DI Lacrosse. 


Coach El has been a coach for over twenty years, and her top priority is to instill a deep love of lacrosse and the belief in themselves. She currently sits on several US Lacrosse Committees and is focused on growing the game at the youth level in McLean, VA.
